Its essential to realise that even the finest web design courses can only provide you with the techniques & procedures - none of them can actually turn you in to a bona-fide web designer. - Posing questions in a class full of students often makes any one of us a little nervous. Ever avoided asking a question just because you didn't want to appear stupid?

- Where students have to on occasion work elsewhere in the country for several days at a time, consider the added problems of getting to the needed classes, when time-off becomes even harder to obtain.

To find a more flexible route, use pre-made classes in the comfort of your own chosen environment - at a time that's convenient to you - not anybody else. Study at home on your desktop computer or if you've got a laptop, you can go anywhere. Any questions that pop up, just get onto the live 24x7 support (that should've been packaged with any technical type of training.) You don't have to worry about any note-taking - everything is prepared in advance for you. If you want to re-do anything, it's all right there. Could it be more straightforward: A lot of money is saved and you avoid all the travelling; plus you get a more peaceful learning environment.
